Sick Death Fiend wins

Definitely. The others don't even come close. I couldn't even understand what the hell TOMMY's as about and I doubt he did either. Livecorpse's just sucked up and down. Tracing porno and making tired jokes about Mario getting laid is reeeal funny, oh, and so is AIDS. yuk yuk yuk. It looks like eric black has some skills but 2 hours? C'mon, man, this is a contest.

The grades I gave on this movie were for Sick Death Fiend and not for the others.

T0MMY responds:

Actually, no, it's not a contest. It's a challenge. Eric's challenge was 2 hours and it's awesome for what he pulled together in that time.
But we gave SickDeathFiend a cookie for you declaring him the winner.

YEAH! MACINTOSH > J00

That was great! Way to go. Kudos for not going the obvious route with Strawberry Clock. Orange makes much more sense. Although yourself might have made the most sense, MacintoshClock. Anyway the fact that it was you who thought up and executed this idea so well is cool enough.

hmm

Okay, Your drawings were good. BUT! Your animation was sub par. It didn't even look like you were using flash. Nice use of public domain music, but did you really have no way of recording voices? The joke was obvious and only kind of funny. What would have been funnier is if you went for some visible humor at the end and showed a whole bunch of angels living like homeless people. lol.

Good but...

I was with you up until the part where you added the finishing touches. You like did five weird steps without explaining anything. Well actually I could figure most of it out, but the begginers your aiming for wont be able to. I don't know how yoy made those textures, but you explained them nicely.

Really Well Made

Now, when you say you made this for the movie, Down With Love, does that mean you were paid to do this or were you just inspired by it? I'm asking because seeing that almost makes me want to see the movie. Almost.

BADMAN responds:

It was done to help sell the soundtrack. It's not a bad movie, it just didn't get much press. The animation would probably make more sense if you'd seen it, anyhow

makes sense

If he ate like that all the time, he wouldn't be a stick figure, he'd be more of a tree trunk figure. Yuk yuk yuk. foo.

cool

Okay, if you want to fix your lipsyncing, set your audio to "stream" in the pull-down menu that also has event, start, and stop. Keep it that way when you create the mouth movements and when you publish. Everything should be fine.

very very well done

I truly liked this piece. I have already considered many of the points mentioned in your movie, but never in such length and so eloquently as well. I mostly enjoyed however, how you kept a strong message of hope in this movie, unlike the dreary, suicidal would-be philosoph animators who make 'life-sucks-then-you-die' messaged pieces of shit. Anyway I really liked "R" and I hope to see more of this quality from Newgrounds in the future. Also the Ridley part was cool.

Da-Dinictus responds:

Yeah, thank Rynn for his design. She helped greatly. Thank you for your review. I was hoping to convey an enticement to think of matters, not only on 'the bright side' but also on 'the dark side', so to speak. It's not only black & white we are talking of. Again, thank you for your review. Happy Clock Day.

YES! YES! YES!

I loove Evil Dead too! Bruce Campbell is the man, hands down. I read his whole auto biography, If Chins Could Kill. It rules. If you haven't read it, read it and your series will write itself. Ok, but some stuff you HAVE TO INCLUDE are:

Sam Raimi's 1973 Oldsmobile Delta Royale a.k.a. "The Classic." It's in every one of his movies including all three EDs and Spider-man.

three stooges style stuff. Please don't make it too scary and gory. Evil Dead was as funny as it was scary, remember?

At one point have Ash look right at the camera in an extreme close-up and say "Workshed!!!" without moving his lips. This happened in Evil Dead II as a very badly done edit.

In the Wes Craven film, The Hills Have Eyes, he had a torn poster of Jaws on the wall in one scene, as if to say that Jaws was nothing compared to this movie. Not to be outdone, Sam Raimi put a torn poster of The Hills Have Eyes on the basement wall in Evil Dead. Later in Wes Craven's Nightmare on Elm Street, when Nancy was trying to stay up late she was watching Evil Dead on TV. So, Raimi put a torn poster of Nightmare on Elm Street in Evil Dead II. So you should put a torn poster of like Scream or Freddy vs. Jason or something.

Ok, I can't wait to see this series. I'm going to vote five now.

CGSstudios responds:

Well, it seems your as big as fan as me,I however, knew all of the above facts, so;
...the car WILL be in there, as will the ripped posters, and the bad edits, and possibly the continuity errors, as they all add to whats so great about the movies, dont worry,...
IM A HUGE FAN,
ALL THE LITTLE THINGS WILL BE THERE,
possibly even down to the blue square around the moon (Evil Dead one Dead heads)

I'll make it fit for the king,
Hail to the King baby...

Funny...

Question, who the hell is that fat guy with the tits and why did you have him flash by in the easter egg? I mean, god damn, man.

Oh yeah and the rest was funny, I guess.

Knox responds:

toxic bomb made that flash, and its a freind of his..hes the one who made that easter egg,ask him!

I've actually made movies and I know how hard it is, so don't get pissed if you don't like my review.
